General Information
A driving licence, traffic licence and the relevant insurance documents (except for countries that have other regulations) are necessary for entry into Croatia with a vehicle.
Speed and Alcohol Limits:
Speed: 50 km/h in settlements, 80 km/h out of settlements (unless stated differently) and 130 km/h on highways.
Maximum allowed alcohol in the blood: 0.5 per thousand (0r 0.05 percent)
Petrol pumps: open from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. every day; in the summer season till 10 p.m. On-duty petrol pumps in bigger cities and on main international roads are open 24 hours.
Petrol pumps sell: Eurosuper 95, Eurosuper 98, Super 98, Normal and Diesel fuel
Taxi service – in all cities and tourist places
Car rental – in all bigger cities, tourist centres and airports.
